When we paint, we allow feeling and intuition to guide us. We journey within our inner realms to express and explore the deeper levels of our experience. We seek total freedom of expression with curiosity and wonder. The paint draws us in...the colors talking to us, beckoning to dance on the paper and discover. The facilitation helps us to gently untangle those things that block our full expression and joy.

ABOUT THE CLASSES
Everyone is welcome and painting experience, talent and skill is absolutely not required, only a desire to explore through the creative process.
All classes and workshops begin and end with discussion led by the facilitator. You speak only if you want to.
The studio is a safe space and judgment free zone. This means we respect each other's process by never commenting on the paintings or interfering with or judging another person's process. This is a sacred space. (Also, if a topic would be appropriate for TV news, please keep it out of the studio.)
You must pre-register to reserve your space. You can register online or by sending a check. (Cancellation Policy below.)
PRACTICAL STUFF
All supplies are provided, including art materials, aprons, etc.
There is plenty of on street parking.
There is a coffee shop and a couple restaurants in walking distance.
The CTA Blue Line is walking distance. The studio is about 1 mile from either the Austin or Harlem exits on the 290.
I offer classes in my home studio and there are stairs involved.
I have two Tibetan Terriers, and they are non-shed and low dander/hypoallergenic dogs. Sometimes they come into the studio during painting, but are shy and usually avoid new people.
